First post

Here's the first post in my personal blog. I think it's time I started a personal blog - I was never one to keep a journal, but because this is on the computer I am much more likely to actually use it. I doubt anyone will ever read this, but it might be good for me to have somewhere to jot my thoughts down. Who knows, it might make for good reading down the road.
